In 2017 with the city of Basel, Switzerland abuzz with Art Basel starting that week, Shirt moved his 14-foot Blue Nude III sculpture against a small building on the Rhine River. It was last seen 42 days later in the same spot. After that it disappeared. The work was made by Shirt during his first semester at school after the unusually large piece of wood was discovered on campus. No attempts by the artist have been made to locate the work since it was discovered to be lost.
