Mickey/Rap Anniversary, 2015

Acrylic on found wood, guerilla installation, 2 hours

On the one year anniversary of the release of Rap, Shirt unveiled a 4x4 ft Rap work, and a 6ft tall Damien Hirst Mickey both painted on wood and displayed on Bowery Street in Downtown, New York. It was the first time the rapper presented an appropriated Damien Hirst Mickey work publicly, leaving the works unattended and only staying to take a few photos. Shirt later received word that a friend rented a truck and had the pieces brought to storage. The whereabouts of the works at this time are unknown.
